The Honey Island Swamp Tour was a blast. Jon liked this one better than the air boat tour in Florida.

New Orleans!
The first time Jon went to New Orleans right away he said I'm gonna have to bring you here. It is a town all about music. Boy was he right! Breeze and I went last month and LOVED it. It is hot which I always love, and I am now a huge fan of Gumbo & Beignets. We went walking around down town just about every night until we dropped!
Getting there was a whole other story! Breeze & I had free flights, so we didn't have first choice on the day and when to fly. Breanna was going with Jon on a later flight and I was scheduled for an 8 hour journey with two connecting flights. It was one of those days where the universe was aligned in such a way that everything that could possibly go wrong - did! It started that morning when my ride to the airport fell through. I won't go into
every detail of the day- After I checked in, the flight was delayed. Just when I started to worry about making my connecting flight I found out there were tornado's and dollar coin size hail going on within 20 miles of the airport. One good thing; I was actually able to transfer to the same flight as Jon and Breeze. With all the delays, we ended up rollin' in to New Oreleans just before 3:00 am. My bags didn't arrive because they were still on the connecting flight I was originally scheduled for. We went all over trying to find a rental car company that was open. Finally we found one and we were on our way to the hotel. To top it all off the Hotel lost our reservation so we had to go somewhere else. The next day it was nothing but play and fun!!!

This 7 foot alligator was literally 4 feet from us!

These amazing trees were a common sight down there. The Spanish moss is so enchanting.
The Baton Rouge Louisiana Temple. It was nice to be able to hang out with Dave too since he recently took a job with Jasper.
About an hour drive and Beautiful the whole way! I wish our free ways looked like this.

The Party bus is one of my favorites. An open top bus blasting music with people dancing and a light show as it drives by can be nothing but fun. If you dance when it goes by, they will throw you beads. As you can see, we ended up with quite a collection. Plus people would just hand Breezie beads as we walked by. She is a magnet for free things. Everywhere we go people are giving her things.

Dance the night away. Often the restaurants/ bars would have open walls where you could walk right by the musicians.
I'm teaching Breanna to be a "Mod-Bod" So excuse the cute little midriff. I was pulling her shirt down all night.

The ultimate swing chair. It looks like a thrown. I thought it was so funny, I had to take a pic.
