Breanna's 2!!

It was a fun filled day. Including all of Breezie's favorites. We did a lot of coloring, a lot of shows, and a LOT of swinging! She had a big Birthday party we held at the church complete with dinner, cake of course, a fishing game and you can't get better than watching Dora on the big screen. Or as Breeze would say; "Big Show!" One of the best parts was Grandma Nene and Papi were here to share it all with us! Happy Birthday Breezie!!!

Say Cheeeese!

Halloween costume? Nope, this is my new side gig of being a princess for kid's Birthday parties. So far I've only been Cinderella, but I get to be Snow White and Bell sometimes too. (Cinderellas the funnest anyway!) I play games with the kids, dance read stories and sing songs. It is so much fun! The best part is, I get to dress up and where gloves, fake eyelashes and don't forget the glowing jewlery! It's also great cause it really keeps my confidence up for doing solos since I have 3-4 parties a month. I have to be quick on my thinking since the kids will ask me unexpected questions. The last party I grabbed my keys to leave and the Birthday girl in shock, said; " You came in a car?!?!?" I said, "Oh no, sweetie I came in a carriage, these are just the keys to my castle." Woo, what a relief!

Breezie is talking up a storm now. She surprises me everyday with what she is saying. Here are some examples. . .
Jon was getting her to smile/laugh for a picture and she said; " I don't know what to say."
She has started saying "Not sure" when I ask her a question. I was trying to show Jon, so I asked her where the napkins are, but instead she pointed and said; "right there" so Jon said Breezie what is today? She said; "Um, . . . 14?" So cute.

She is potty training right now (which she is doing great at). One day she was grunting and trying so hard, and after a few minutes she looked down and said; "It doesn't work!"
She was watching Snow White, when the witch was trying to give her the apple, and it showed snow white again she said; " Don't talk!! "
Whenever I show her a picture of the temple she says "a Boat" She thinks they all look like boats. Then we picked someone up from the airport the other day and as soon as she saw it she said; " Temple Mommy"

Breanna has really taken an interest in drawing. She can draw for a full hour and not get sick of it. She is quite the artist too! She is drawing circles and triangles and squares. (Although some of the masterpiece you see below were done by Daddy.) She showed me one picture and said; "Look Mommy, a kite" It was a triangle with a line going down to t loop! I was very impressed. She also loves to sing, hm . . . does this sound like anyone else you know?

Here are a few pics from Halloween. Breanna was little bow peep. I spent all day working on her Bonnet, but I think my favorite part is how much the dress puffed out. And c'mon, those bloomers! Why she's just the cutest 'bow peep I ever did see!

Breezie was so funny trick or treating, people would say take as much as you want and She knew exactly what that meant. She was scoopin as much as her little hands could possibly grab!
I thought the strings ontop of the squash looked like witches hair. But I thought it was too ugly a face, so I painted a more cutsie one on the back.
The squash and smaller pumpkin are from our garden.

Fun filled Trip

Hey Everybody!!

Things are going well for our family. We had a fun filled Vegas trip the end of July/early August. We were able to spend time with some of our sweet sister missionaries that served in our ward. It was fun to see them in their own element and meet their families.

Grandma Honey & Pa pa pa came to babysit Breezie for our Anniversary (7 years baby woo!) and for convention for WFG. Because we had the connection of the sisters we were able to have them watch the Breeze a couple of times so we could all go out on the town. (- do I sound old school saying that?) Including TWO Cirque Du Soleil shows. Mystere & La Reve and of course they were AMAZING it's Cirque! Love the acts, love the music, the atmosphere, just love it.

La Reve as you can see, we also got to meet up with Doug and Anna in Vegas too- yeah!
Convention of Champions 2010!!!

Jet skiing on Lake Mead
Is it just me or is the horse smiling for the picture?
Breezie got scared and wanted off about 3 seconds after we took this.
After jet skiing one day (on some very choppy water I might add) and horse back riding the next, we learned not to plan these activities so close to each other on the next go- we were pre-T sore. But man, we had a good time anyway!

For our Anniversary dinner we went to a place called Sergios- an authentic Italian restaurant. It was SOO GOOD my mouth still waters just thinking about the plate I had!! They said it was one of Celine Dion's favorites so I had to get a picture of her picture! Ha ha, I am such a nerd!

After we got home from Vegas, Travis and Crystal came to visit for a quick stop. It was so fun to see them.

Aquarium

Doug and Anna came to visit. We had a great time, packed full of activities. We were laughing because when we went to Elich Gardens it had a sign that said; " Not to see Eliches is not to see Denver" So we realized that up until now we hadn't even seen Denver yet- who knew! One of the funnest parts at Eliches was the water park.
We also tried out the Cherry Cricket Restaurant. They were on the travel channel for having some of the best Burgers. I must say they were mighty tasty.
We had a behind the scenes tour of the Aquarium. Breanna's favorite were the giant bunnies.

Breezie was a little timid to walk over the glass, but she was brave.

I cant' help but feel a little uneasy every time I see this picture.
Don't worry Jon was holding her tight.

June

I am happy to tell you that recovery is going well since the miscarriage. Both physically and emotionally. We are back into the routine of things now. Although I still have to be careful and take it easy. The doctor said it could take up to two months to get my full blood count back to normal. So I'm packin in the iron. Pills, spinach, broccoli, and liver- the works!

Here are some incredible pictures of Breanna I took for fathers day. That's MY daughter!!! Plus a cute little video of Breezie too.

Here is a fun hairstyle I did while she was eating breakfast (it's the only way.) She was being particularly good about it that day, so I went to town. I called it her crown.
