the happy hill home: The BIG post

Hi everyone. Wow, it's been a while since I've done an update, but I have lots of pictures to make up for it! This entry is 3 in 1, you may have to take the next day's work off to finish looking at it. It's worth it though-just look how cute Breanna is! Actually most of it's just pictures, so don't worry just enjoy.
We have been to Utah five times in the past few months. Usually I'm doing caricatures, or Jon's had work over there. However, this last trip was for Doug Smith's wedding, -congratulations Doug & Anna!!

Some of these pictures are older, but too cute to leave out, so I'll go from oldest to present.

Early summer I had a dream come true. I participated in a watermelon eating contest (I know I'm easy to please) I've always wanted to do that. We were a little over zealous considering the melon in the picture were the leftovers after the contest. It was for a combined mutual activity and I took 2nd place. People, that is a big deal, I downed 20 pieces and beat out several hungry boys. I totally deserve a trophy.

For the 4th of July I got a booth at a local fair to do caricatures. Turns out it was freezing cold that day with rain and wind. Needless to say it wasn't a big money maker for us, but the weather did clear up just in time to have a fabulous firework show.

For part of the Hill reunion in July each family put together a slide show of recent activities and pictures.

All the cousins had fun playing with Breezie. Douglas liked to rest his hand on her head, I caught him doing it several times.

Mike Hyde gave us a T-shirt for Breezie. The logo Fury Surf is a company Mike and a friend of his started on the side. They design and sell surf boards. Thanks again Mike!
